Welcome to Stonedale Lodge Care Home in Liverpool, situated in the suburb of Croxteth, just off the East Lancashire Road.

Our approach is all about providing person-centred care, and we treat each Resident as the individual they are.

This ensures that they are very much a part of decisions about their lives and care and that we look after their emotional wellbeing, not just their physical health.

We're lucky to have six separate Houses as part of our Home, providing all types of care, including nursing. The team here are expert in caring for Residents living with dementia, and we can also offer palliative care.

Residents are encouraged to live the sort of independent and busy lives they choose and we support them in all their needs.

Your Duties...

Work with the Home Manager and Head of Dementia & Wellbeing to engage with and implement Advinia's Wellbeing and Engagement Programme
S.P.E.C.S.
Design and organise, in conjunction with Residents, a range of personcentred stimulating meaningful and engaging activities within the Home.
Develop, manage and coordinate new and ongoing meaningful engagement programmes that encourage Residents to maintain preexisting interests and hobbies.
Encourage Colleagues, Residents, Relatives and Friends to participate in the Home's meaningful engagement programme and help to embed a whole home approach to activities.
Arrange trips and outings to enable Residents to engage in offsite activities to maintain their hobbies and interests.
Support with creating an engaging and stimulating environment throughout the Home that is appropriate to the needs of Residents.
In conjunction with the Home Manager agree and undertake fundraising opportunities to supplement activities budget.
Maintain an activities budget, in conjunction with the Home Manager for the provision of resources, outings and entertainment.
Maintain full and accurate records of activity budget spend.
Encourage, involve and support Residents with deciding on the range of activities that take place within the Home through the development of a Resident's Committee, ensuring all Residents have a voice and the opportunity to contribute and provide feedback.
Ensure risk assessments have been completed for all activities and outings and reviewed as appropriate.
Maximise the use of resources that are available to support with delivering meaningful and engaging activities such as; Band App, Advinia Monthly themes, Moments that Matter initiative, My Life TV, Daily Sparkle, Advinia Virtual Tours.
To participate in and develop activities based on Advinia's monthly activity themes, incorporating each of the areas of the S.P.E.C.S programme.
Recognise that some Residents may not want to (or are unable to) participate in group/ communal activities and therefore plan individualised 121 activities as appropriate.
