Description

We are looking for a Qualified teacher to be an English tutor for a GCSE English student and help them prepare for their GCSE exams (starting soon).

Fridays at 4-6pm in Chelsea Library (in person tuition) SW3 5EZ

The role:


  • This role will involve providing tuition to young people referred to Anchor Tutors
  • Planning each session of teaching
  • Providing engaging sessions which meet their needs
  • Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on progress
  • Preparing them for the expectations of GCSE English and revising with them

Tutor requirements:


Desirable

  • Professional Teaching Qualifications
  • 1+ years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes

Essential

  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • QTS and experience teaching English GCSE
  • Two professional references
  • UK Right to Work
