Stowford Village is looking for an accounts clerk to join our busy accounts department to carry out cashier duties, general bookkeeping and accounting work.

Duties will include manual journal entries, using company accounting software and banking systems.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Cashing up on-site tills and reconciling daily takings to ensure accounts are accurate. Following company procedures regarding purchase orders and paperwork flows. Reconciling accounts. Working with company accountants. Preparing accounting reports and tracking accounts payable. Compiling reports relating to activity areas, project costing and department expenditures. Recording transactions so that they can be consolidated and analysed by accountants.

Own transport essential due to rural location.
