Umbrella Rate:

We are looking to recruit a combination of Investigative Support Officers and Investigative Assistants.


Skills:


  • Ex
  • Detectives (PIP2 Accredited)
  • Ex
  • Police Officers (PIP1 Accredited) or applicants who can evidence the required skills
  • Investigative Assistants

Duties:


  • Provide assistance with PACE compliant suspect interviews and provide an accurate summary of digitally recorded interviews.
  • Complete research and telephone appropriate and submitting updates to line manager and CID supervision as required.
  • Attend reported crime scenes, interview and support potential witnesses and complainants, obtain statements, conduct house to house enquiries and CCTV trawls.
  • Provide support to officers in interviewing and handling offenders.
