Role summary
You will be part of a busy and friendly team at Café on the Park based on Dunsfold Business Park.
The Café is a social enterprise providing catering services to the visitors and tenants of the Park as well as volunteering and work place opportunities to young people and adults with autism.
You will contribute to the enterprise by supporting its day-to-day operation, working both front of house serving customers, and in the kitchen assisting the Café Cook and other team members.
The key benefits of this role are the part time hours with no commitment to working either at the weekend or in the evenings.
Salary:
£18,720 (6 hr shift) or £12,480 (4 hr shift)
Contract terms:
Monday to Friday 8am-2pm (6 hours per day) or 11.30am-3.30pm (4 hours per day)
Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays (3 days to be taken during Christmas closure)

How will you contribute to the team?
- Prepare hot beverages on our barista coffee machine
- Assisting the Café Cook in the preparation of fresh and highquality food options
- Maintaining a wellstocked, clean and tidy environment in both the kitchen and cafe
- Contributing to work experience opportunities and enjoyment for Jigsaw's autistic adult learners and pupils
- Take on board all customer feedback to ensure great customer experience
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- Proven experience of working in a cafe/restaurant/ front of house/customer facing role
- Proven experience of preparing food in a commercial kitchen
- A good standard of personal presentation and a solid understanding of health and hygiene requirements
- Ability to work under pressure independently and as part of a team
- A friendly, cheerful disposition with a positive, cando attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
