Salary:
£23,000 + Commission

Hours:37.5 hours per week, Full time

Job Summary

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Executive/Manager to join their team.

This role will require experience in sales and someone with a tenacious attitude to find new leads.

Day-to-day activities will include your own digital networking, outbound calling, following up on marketing-generated leads, and managing your own sales pipeline.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Develop new working relationships with clients to become their supplier of choice
  • Achieve KPIs and targets
  • Manage own lead generation activity e.g. networking, LinkedIn etc.
  • In partnership with marketing, ensure they are sending relevant and personalised communications that open the door to new clients
  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve and maximise the potential of new business
  • Develop, manage, and analyse the lead database using Hubspot CRM
Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years sales experience
  • Telesales experience preferable
  • Prior experience in health care or optical industry desirable
  • Prior use of CRM Hubspot is desirable but not essential
  • Must be comfortable using the telephone to contact leads
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to converse with a diverse audience
  • Good problemsolving abilities
  • Good influencing and negotiation skills
  • Desire to drive continual improvement
  • Ability to use a range of Microsoft packages to a competent standard
  • Prior experience of account management or a sales background desirable
