Claims Handler
Up to £30,000 DOE | Permanent | Colwick


Due to limited public transport links it is highly desirable for you to drive and have your own car.

About The Role
Capella Professional are proud to be working with an established, family run commercial insurance broker in Colwick. Due to expansion, they are looking for a confident and experienced professional to join their team to bolster their ranks


The key aspect of this role will consist of dealing with the daily flow of claims made on insurance policies which can be a range from large motor fleets, goods in transit, liability, and property insurance.


Specific Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for our client's commercial claims throughout the whole process and delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Process and review insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner
  • Dealing with client and insurer queries relating to claims
  • Updating of claims settlement details
  • Running claim reports
  • Administration duties as and when required.
  • Ensure effective document control responsibilities by updating literature in an efficient manner.

About you

  • It is Essential that you have experience working in the insurance sector, ideally with a background in motor, property, goods in and transit.
  • Experience in handling liability claims
  • Acturis experience
  • Attention to detail in all work duties
  • Proficient in MS Office packages
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Negotiating and influencing ability
  • Highly organised and strong at prioritising workloads
  • Ability to work calmly and positive under pressure

Working Hours
Monday

  • Friday 09:0017:00 (office based)
