Due to continued business success we are now seeking an experienced Surveyor for our successful Asbestos Division.

Role and Responsibilities:

Carrying out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys on domestic and commercial premises.
Conducting bulk sampling within the region.
Liaising on a daily basis with clients, contractors and their representatives, regulatory bodies as well as members of the public.
To be up to date with asbestos legislation, guidance and industry best practice including UKAS accreditation and quality management arrangements, and to comply with internal and external quality audit obligations.
To meet all legal obligations required by the company as a provider of asbestos related services and an employer.
To take personal responsibility for maintaining technical expertise and an awareness of current issues in the sector.
To be up to date with relevant legislation including all relevant Health and Safety legislation.
To be proactive to ensure that work is delivered on time by all areas of the business.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

BOHS P402 Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings is essential
Experience of undertaking various asbestos surveys to a variety of commercial and domestic properties
Minimum of 2 years' experience
Full, clean driving licence

Hours of work are Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm (overtime may be required)
