The employer is a well-established non-for-profit organisation headquartered in Edinburgh. They are based all over Scotland and are constantly striving to improve their services. The Role

The role of Senior Finance Officer will report to the team of Finance Business Partners, with a view to potentially taking over this position in a few years time.

The successful individual will be involved in the preparation of monthly management accounts; budgeting and forecasting, providing financial support to service management on a business partnering like basis; and VAT and other relevant statutory returns.

You will be involved with but not limited to the following duties:

Reporting to the team of Finance Business Partners
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Analysing the difference in spend versus budget
Preparation of statutory and other financial returns
Preparation of Cashflow projections
Assisting in the preparation of draft yearend accounts
Other Ad Hoc finance related duties

To be considered for the role you must:

Have a minimum of 3 years relevant finance experience
Have experience of preparing management accounts
Have experience with accounting software packages
Have excellent communication and relationship building skills
Have good MS Office Excel literacy, including pivot tables, vlookups etc.

On Offer

The role of Finance Business Partner will offer a salary of £28,000 - £33,000 plus an additional benefits package including hybrid working.

The office is based in Edinburgh and is easily accessible via public transport.
