What you'll be doing:


To provide leadership of the night's team through working closely with the Front of House Manager to effectively utilise and develop all resources within the area of control in order to achieve the goals of the Nights team and the business.


As a Nights Team Leader you will be performing a diverse role that is essential to ensuring all guests have a seamless experience during their stay.

You will be responsible for welcoming guests, detailing bedroom facilities and promoting hotel services, you may be asked to, assist with room service and undertake general errands on behalf of guests or managers.

Most importantly you should be able to demonstrate a real passion for delivering great service to our guests at all times.

To assist hotel guests if attending functions, bar work, checking guests in and out of the hotel, preparing function rooms for next day functions, manual work is involved.

Job Profile

Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Delivering great Guest Service including late night/early arrivals.
  • Capturing additional revenue through walk in/ telephone reservations ensuring maximum occupancy for the hotel
  • Completing all housekeeping requests are responded to in a timely manner; Inc. public areas & conference.
  • Finalising all payments due and balancing the day's finances.
  • Guaranteeing our metrics are achieved by working with the company standards.
  • Preparing and cooking Breakfast for our guests in line with the Food Safety Act 1990
  • Work in line with the premises licence to serve guests beverages in our open lobby
  • Completing the successful running of the Night Audit.
  • Plan and prepare a detailed hand over for the new day ahead.
  • Ensuring the comfort, safety & security of all our guests. Including hourly floor walks.
  • Leading the Nights Team
