As a Barclays Digital Communications Platform Manager, you will help lead the operational management, development, governance and channel effectiveness of strategic corporate communications channels, which include Barclays' digital media walls and lifts, Qualtrics, Vevox and SeenIt.

Your accountabilities for this role also include working with stakeholders across all business units and regions and providing a best-in-class digital experience for our internal audience.

Working Flexibly

What will you be doing?:


  • Working closely with stakeholders to assist and effectively manage corporate assets on the OneLan estate across media walls, screens and lifts
  • Overseeing and leading the provision and providing training to new and existing users
  • Giving assistance to the ongoing management, updates and development plans, which contain all upcoming functional change to meet bank policy and business requirements
  • Determining, documenting, and upkeeping user guides, monitoring and communicating delivery as per agreed plans, and escalating appropriately if potential risks or delays appear
  • Assisting the team with overflow of work, such as intranet updates and general support
  • Providing feedback to stakeholders where opportunities are identified, and encouraging continuous improvement and change to benefit the enduser experience
  • Ensuring all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards

What we're looking for:


  • Knowledge and experience with digital communications channels
  • Experience using other tools, such as AEM, SharePoint Online, Poppulo, Yammer is preferred
  • Solid stakeholder management skills & ability to manage multiple complex stakeholder groups
  • Ability to efficiently navigate complex process and procedures

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Involvement in working in a regulated industry, ideally financial services
  • Excellent agency and supplier management skills
  • Expertise in the Barclays systems, or experience in a large corporate environment or digital agency

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links.

With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
