About Nutrition
The Nutrition Division of THG includes Myprotein, MyVegan, MyVitamins, Exante & Idealfit.

In Myprotein exists THG's largest brand, but of similar importance is the growth trajectory of all brands in the division, which have seen exponential growth in the past few years.

About Finance at THG


Finance at THG is a rapidly growing and evolving team, covering all areas of finance from central functions such as accounts receivable and payable, treasury, tax and internal audit, to specific commercial teams for each of our divisions; Beauty, Tech, Consumer, Health and Brands.

About the Role
The Nutrition Finance function sits across both the commercial and financial structures at THG.

A unique function offering the opportunity to business partner across all areas of the division helping to drive trading performance and profitability, support growth and innovation as well as delivering strong financial control and reporting.


Responsibilities:

Reporting into the Finance Director, the role is split into the below key areas:

  • Financial control and ownership of the month end processes across all online offerings including Myprotein
  • Commercial reporting and analysis; driving and challenging all aspects of the P&L, delivering key profit improvement and working capital initiatives
  • Budgeting and Forecasting both in month and on a rolling 12 month view to assist the business in future planning and driving performance
  • Assisting with longer term strategic projects including leading international expansion from a financial compliance perspective

Within these areas the role will require:

  • An inspirational leader, who thrives on being able to drive and work with an ambitious team to achieve goals aligned to the business' need
  • A proactive approach to P&L performance, acting quickly on both risks and opportunities identified in both the short, medium and long term.
  • A confident mindset, comfortable in dealing with a wide range of nonfinancial key stakeholders and managing difficult conversations
  • Comfortable to challenge and review spend approvals to ensure all costs deliver incremental benefit to the business
  • A strong attention to detail to ensure a tightly controlled balance sheet is delivered consistently, reviewing the wider team's work
  • A keen ability to multitask across a number of areas and manage both their own and the teams time effectively
  • An ability to communicate with wider finance functions outside of the division, including group, tax, treasury etc, to ensure all relevant information is provided and received for reporting purposes
  • A collaborative approach to working with the wider divisional finance team including commercial, to assist with reporting and profit delivery, and SSC, to ensure a tightly controlled working capital cycle
  • Direct management of a team of 56

Requirements:


  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACA)
  • Experience working within a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and manage Senior Stakeholders
  • Experience leading and developing an ambitious team
  • Planning and organisational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
