Description

Our client, an innovative, entrepreneurial and growing company, is looking for a Life Technician / Actuarial Analyst to be based in their London office.


The main responsibilities will focus on the following:
Actuarial

  • To assist the CRO with the ongoing recalibration of a pricing model
  • Design and build tools which will optimise running pricing models
  • Support the development of new products
  • Analyse profitability for product / portfolio and documenting profit testing processes and results
  • Assist with the design of product specifications for integration into the company's platform. This will involve liaising with external suppliers / stakeholders
Financial

  • Assist the finance team with verifying the accuracy and completeness of the bordereaux which are submitted to insurers & capital providers
  • Ensure that the commission calculations are correctly calculated and reported
  • Assist in the design and maintenance of financial models (i.e. budgets & cash forecasts)

Requirements:


  • Highly numerate with a Financial degree or qualification
  • Working towards their Actuarial qualification
  • Minimum of one years' experience in the Life insurance market desirable
  • Advanced MS Excel skills & strong working knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to work with a small team in a fastpaced environment
