About the role
We are looking for an
Arborist - (1 post) to join our Environmental Services team. This role is predominately based in our Neighbourhoods and you will attend the office as and when required.
You will undertake a wide range of high quality, practical arboriculture and landscape maintenance operations including aerial tree works to the highest standards of safety and quality, whilst providing excellent customer service.
You will deal with customer enquiries, including requests for service and complaints and you will carry out a wide range of arboricultural operations using associated machinery and equipment as instructed by the Senior Arborist.
You will assist in conducting a comprehensive range of flexible, emergency tree works, and land scheduled tree maintenance, under the direction of the Senior Arborist and Arboriculture Manage, completing all works to the relevant quality standards and in line our procedures and key performance indicators (KPI's), complying with Health and safety standards in all areas of operations whilst on site.
You will undertake basic assessment surveys and deliver appropriate reports for tree works, updating our digital system with basic data as required ensuring all data is accurate and reflective of works undertaken.
What are we looking for?
To be successful it is essential at you hold NPTC/Lantra units in Arboriculture: Arboricultural accreditation: CS30 / CS31 Maintenance, Cross-cutting and Felling, CS32 Felling of Medium Trees CS38 Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue CS39 Operate a Chain Saw from a Rope and Harness and Manually Fed Brushwood Chipper, Stump grinding NPTC, CS40, 41 Aerial pruning and dismantling and PA1, PA6 Pesticides training.
