Accounts Assistant (Strictly No Agencies)
Simply Bearings are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts Team based in Leigh.

With a starting salary of £23,500 and a performance related bonus, this is a great opportunity to join a true market leader.

You should be computer literate, logical thinking, have good time management skills and have excellent communication skills.

Processing customer invoices and credits
Processing product invoices and credits
Processing expense invoices
Processing fixed asset additions
Posting journals relating to payments and receipts
Reconciling supplier statements
Processing petty cash
Pursuing outstanding debts with prompt resolution to queries
Processing refunds for exchanges and returns
Reconciling trade counter sales daily
Bank reconciliations
VAT return
Dealing with external and internal queries

The Accounts Assistant must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Strong credit control skills.

Experience of working on both Purchase and Sales Ledger computerised systems.

Good reconciliation skills.

Good communication at all levels.

Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and work in a methodical manner.

A confident telephone manner to be able to resolve customer queries.

Computer literate including Excel and Word.

Package:
Annual starting salary £23,500

Quarterly performance related bonus

Working hours:
Monday to Friday, alternating weekly between 07:30-15:30 and 09:30-17:30
