Description

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join St John's Church Pre-School Nursery as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice.

The nursery is run by a voluntary Church Constitutions Committee and the nursery's philosophy is based on Christian values, placing value and respect on each individual.

Children can be regularly observed out in the community using the local community facilities.

Our nursery welcomes, respects and values all diversities and celebrates all children, their families and our staff, working together to promote their individual potential

Your main duties and responsibilities will include;
To be a key person

Maintain health and safety requirements

Opening and closing procedures

Develop and communicate partnerships with parents

Health and wellbeing of children catered for

Toileting and all aspects of personal care

Supporting with snack time

Preparing the room and preparing activities

Outside play

Requirements;

Enhanced CRB/DBS

Current Paediatric First Aid

Knowledge and experience of EYFS

GCSE's A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills

Driving would be an advantage

Hours;
St John's Church Preschool Nursery offer a day nursery provision running from 08:00-17:00 and are a Term Time Only setting
