Cloud Data Engineer | Lloyds Insurer

London

£60,000 - £70,000 per annum

My client is a Leading Lloyds market Insurance firm based in London and they are looking to appoint a Cloud Data Engineer to join their Tech and Transfiormation Team working on a number of Cloud and Data Initiatives within the firm.

Role:

Develop the architecture, tools, procedures and methods employed in the operating environment in line with technical advances and business requirements
Assist in the design of the data warehouse, integrating data from various sources to deliver value to the business
Deal with complex data, source and target tables mappings, load process, transformation, reconciliation, error handling, physical and logical data dimensional modelling
Assist in the construction and optimisation of the cloud based data platform
Create solutions in response to data requirements (Data quality, Data mapping, Metadata management, Migration and Reporting solutions)
Ensure that developments are carried out in accordance with established Company IT procedures and standards. Participate in the establishment of development procedures and standards

Skills:

Experience with Advanced SQL
Experience with Cloud platfroms (AWS, AZUre, GCP)
Data integration tollls such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica or similar
Star schema modelling
Power BI
Snowflake
