Company Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients They are currently looking for a skilled Business Process Delivery Lead to join their team for a six-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

In essence this role will be to come and define, plan and execute our priorities in Business Process Management for simplifying processes.

It will need to have SME knowledge and experience in delivering a programme of process improvements, as well as the proven experience of project managing the delivery itself.


Define a process requirements list based on an understanding of business problems/pain points, linking these requirements to other interaction points in the overall process framework.

Create a phased plan for our Simplification Programme (SP) based on prioritised pain points identified and driven by other programmes; working with key stakeholders to define its scope, outcomes and planned deliverables in line with business priorities and budget.

Project manage the completion of process design, improvement and implementation deliverables.

Facilitate process development workshops, focusing on guiding different stakeholder groups to making a decision on the 'simplified' process outcome whilst considering the big picture; consider interactions between processes and the impacts on roles that interact with the process.

Work with OCM to conduct change impact assessments to ensure successful adoption of process changes.

Understanding and tracking dependencies of other Programmes of work to ensure SP planning and execution is in step with our overall capacity for change and resource availability.

Ensure programme controls and governance are established to comply with best practice and ISO standards where applicable.
Define and deliver a reporting schedule suitable to the context and aligned to governance.
Manage key dependencies and interfaces; this will include within the Simplification function and wider.

Required Skills/Experience

Diagnosing business issues and solving problems.
Using standard business process frameworks and notation (e.g. BPMN).
Documenting existing processes, and working with business stakeholders to understand handoffs, interdependencies and pain points.
Designing to-be processes, leveraging leading practices and enabling technologies, working with business stakeholders.
Managing process transition, knowledge transfers and process reengineering.
Undertaking change impact assessments between as-is and to-be processes.
Developing implementation plans for defined to-be processes.
