Description

Shillingford Bridge Hotel is located between Oxford and Henley, with 40 guest rooms and two large function rooms. The River View Restaurant serves freshly prepared food and has beautiful views over the banks of the Thames. The River Bar serves light meals and drinks with extensive outside dining.

Responsibilities would include:

Assist Management team in co-ordinating and preparing the service periods of the bar/restaurant during scheduled shifts to run smoothly
Ensuring that all Standard Operating procedures in the department are delivered and adhered to as laid out
Prepare, conduct staff briefings and de-briefings to ensure that all staff are fully knowledgeable of all Food & Beverage products
Managing staff and providing them with feedback
Efficiently, effectively attending to customer complaints with the outcome of maximum guest satisfaction and least loss of revenue
Ensuring that all employees adhere to the Company's uniform and grooming standards
Advising customers on menu, beverage and wine choices ensuring additional revenue is created
Assist the Management team to provide feedback on staff training as well as deliver staff training
Ensure comprehensive Food & Beverage knowledge of each team member to maximise the customer experience and arrange training in coordination with Pilchard Manager & Assistant Manager accordingly
Organising cleaning rotas and ensure completion for bar and back of house areas
Perform customer satisfaction checks throughout service
