Key Tasks & ResponsibilitiesClinical:
The recording of both routine and emergency electrocardiograms on adult patients.

Issuing ambulatory 24/48 Hour ECG monitors Downloading ambulatory ECG monitors in readiness for analysis Issuing Cardiac Event Monitors Issuing ambulatory BP monitors and printing off reports Preparation of patients for cardiology clinical procedures/ assisting i.e.

echocardiography.

Preparation and issue of domiciliary sleep study equipment Download of sleep study equipment Calibration and routine maintenance of equipment and accurate logging of procedures Undertaking Spirometry and FeNo measurements Supports Clinical Physiology team in providing diagnostic and treatment services.

Maintain equipment used to a clean and serviceable standard, reporting faults where necessary.

To undertake the relevant course and exams, fulfilling college and role expectations Meet the needs of our patients at all times.

Education and Training Undertake Healthcare Science Assistant Apprenticeship (Level 2) at CSR Scientific Training To undertake mandatory training (MAST) To develop IT skills and training courses as required, in line with Trust developments.

Administrative Handling telephone queries Input, retrieval and checking of patient information using EPIC/ESR Uploading test reports Distribution of test reports to appropriate staff Personal Attributes Core attributes to provide the safest care possible for our patients Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of quality of care and Trust values Be accountable for own actions and those of their team Have an ability to work efficiently, effectively and professionally in a multidisciplinary team Demonstrate that everyones contribution is valued Work to ensure the units improve efficiency and reduces waste Demonstrate that you will be open to improving everything that you do Have an ability to consider and implement new solutions
