Support Worker:
Milford Haven area


Salary:
£13 per hour


Sleep in:
£80 per sleep


Hours:
Full Time (Part Time also available)


Holidays: 33 days per year (pro rata)
Full driving licence and car required for this role


The Role
CJP Outreach Services are proud to be working in Pembrokeshire and also proud to be working with some amazing individuals to make a real difference to their lives and to support people tom achieve independence and live the life they want to live

We currently support a young man in the Milford Haven area, and we require additional people to join our amazing team


We have two vacancies, and we are happy to consider people both part time and full time, but in either case there would be an expectation to undertake sleepovers as part of our roster.


Additionally we are looking for people who may want to work on a bank basis, and work a few shifts a month


For this position you must have a background in care and support, and also you will be able to work on your own initiative and also have an engaging personality, but also be able to deal with situations that may be of a challenge, and therefore understanding how to provide a level of consistency to ensure that situations do not escalate and understanding what trigger points could take place are essential, and ultimately if situations do become a challenge, knowing how to deal in these circumstances is crucial, but the focus is very much on this situation not happening.

You must be prepared to deal with behaviours that may challenge, the majority of the time, the person we support lives life to the full and is a very charming and engaging individual, but there are frequent occasions where behaviours can be challenging, and therefore having experience of this is essential, but also the ability to think quickly and to be of a personality and disposition that you are not phased by these incidents


For this position you will need to be a car driver due to the location where this individual lives and the limited public transport, additionally you will be able to drive the individuals car as needed to access the community and further afield.
