The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Content Designer who will be based within Digital Services.

Digital Services brings trusted design, data, and technology know-how to the delivery of lifelong learning and is aligned with the Digital, Data and Design Profession which provides for communities of practice which supports professional development.


The initial focus of this role will be to support the Student Services Portfolio whose ambition it is to ensure services and products are highly user-centric and designed with the user (whether student or colleague) in mind ensuring best possible outcomes.

The Portfolio is looking to champion new ways to deliver value as well as generating income, with a focus on making our services easier for all that use them.

These roles all require experience of working with agile methodology, of leading, coaching and bringing out the best in your people.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience of using insights to design, improve and publish user-centred content. You will have experience of developing content strategies across services and across channels. You will also have experience leading and coaching other designers and bringing out the best in your people.
