Supported Housing Officer to join our Housing and Support team based in
Barnsley - Quarry View

We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently.

Together with our partners, we support thousands of homeless young people each year.


What you'll be doing as our Supported Housing Officer...

  • Maximise rental income and minimise void loss
  • Effective delivery of Centrepoint's support model
  • Adherence in service to contractual obligations
  • Keep young people safe whilst living in a Centrepoint Service
  • Support caseload of young people to improve life skills and access training opportunities

What we'd be looking for from you...

As our Supported Housing Officer you will have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and numeracy skills
  • Ability to positively engage with young people
  • Able to identify, develop and maintain strong, effective and beneficial partnerships with all relevant external agencies
  • Ability to manager workload to meet a range of conflicting deadlines
  • A strong and demonstrable commitment to promoting Centrepoint's approach to equality and diversity in all work undertaken.
