Supported Housing Officer to join our Housing and Support team based in
Barnsley - Quarry View

We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently.

Together with our partners, we support thousands of homeless young people each year.

What you'll be doing as our Supported Housing Officer...

Maximise rental income and minimise void loss
Effective delivery of Centrepoint's support model
Adherence in service to contractual obligations
Keep young people safe whilst living in a Centrepoint Service
Support caseload of young people to improve life skills and access training opportunities

What we'd be looking for from you...

As our Supported Housing Officer you will have:

Strong written and verbal communication skills and numeracy skills
Ability to positively engage with young people
Able to identify, develop and maintain strong, effective and beneficial partnerships with all relevant external agencies
Ability to manager workload to meet a range of conflicting deadlines
A strong and demonstrable commitment to promoting Centrepoint's approach to equality and diversity in all work undertaken.
