About the Role

Base Location:
Flexible UK| We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSE offices or depots around the UK


Salary:

Group members are expected to provide up to 10 days input each year for which they will receive an annual payment of up to £3,300 and reasonable travel expenses.


Working Pattern:

Fixed Term Contract | Part Time | We anticipate the Group will meet up to 5 times per annum.

The Powering Customers to Net Zero Group will provide guidance on our approach to delivering the needs of our customers, stakeholders and society.

It comprises an independent Chair and up to seven people, who represent a broad range of interests, skills, knowledge and experience.


This is an opportunity to play an influential role in a high-profile Group that will support high quality decision making for the benefit of SSEN's customers and stakeholders.


As a Group member you will:

  • Provide insights and guidance on our approach to delivering the needs of our customers, stakeholders, and society
  • Support high quality decision making for the benefit of SSEN's customers and stakeholders
  • Work as a group and engage directly with our Board and business teams

What do I need?
To be considered for this group, we would love you to have extensive strategic or leadership experience in any of the following areas:

  • Resilience partners
  • Consumer research
  • Future consumers
  • Energy solution providers
  • The communities we serve
  • Developers of electricity generation
  • Consumer charities
  • Suppliers of goods and services to the electricity industry
