BRC are working with a reputable Housing Association who are spread across the South West and South East.

They are looking for an experienced asset compliance surveyor to join their team on a temporary to potentially permanent basis.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working from the recommendations made in Fire Risk Assessments and other compliance assessments including water safety, gas and asbestos
  • Prepare appropriate detailed specifications and oversee contractor's delivery of works, ensuring a high quality, on time and within budget
  • Inspect works in progress and provide detailed written feedback to contractors where improvements are needed
  • Work across a geographical patch in various residential properties including schemes and highrise buildings
  • Ensure that works carried out are in line with health and safety policies & procedures and ensure the safety of customers, staff and third parties
  • Ensure that information is effectively recorded on computerised housing and CRM systems
  • Collate information into regular reports and updates on progress in the works being delivered and preparation of future works
  • Liaise and work closely with stakeholders, surveyors and fire risk assessors

Job Requirements:

  • HNC/HND in Building Construction or Equivalent
  • Driver with access to a vehicle

Desirable:

  • NEBOSH/ FDIS
  • Fire Door Inspection or Fire related qualifications
