Working within this flagship building and prestigious environment in Canary Wharf your primary role is to ensure the security of people, premises, and property, protecting the reputation of the client/tenants throughout.
The London Security Control Room Supervisor will be responsible for using best practices to identify and support all incidents that are either impactful or potentially impactful to business, the brand and or employees.
The London Security Control Room Supervisor will monitor cameras and alarms, dispatch associated calls via telephone and radio, operate access control technology.
London Security Control Room Supervisor will escalate both crisis and non-crisis incidents to their line manager and the senior security management team, overall as per standard operating procedures.

Salary
Starting rate £15.23PH
4 on 4 Off a combination days, nights and weekends
42 Hours a week average
Main Duties
The nature of the role is such
that it is essential
that the post holder has and will maintain an excellent record of attendance and timekeeping.
- To monitor and administer
all aspects of the
Control Centre technology systems including Access
Control, CCTV, Intercoms, Lift Controls, and Fire Command Panel. - To
assist and monitor the
Security
Team to respond to incidents. - To
ensure
all incoming telephone calls are answered in a timely manner. - To
ensure
that
all critical alarms are actioned in a timely manner.
Ensure Policies and Procedures are followed.
- To administer card issuance to contractors within the Credit Suisse guidelines and procedures, and to oversee their supervision.
- To
assist in the training of selected CCO stand in
team members. - To monitor access and egress of personnel and respond to breaches.
- To be responsible for the compliance and administration of
Control Centre records and
assist the duty manager in conducting monthly audits. - To be responsible for the administration, issue and return of
all keys, and radio communication equipment and audit compliance. - To
ensure
that
all incidents, which occur during the course of your duties, are reported promptly and recorded within the guidelines laid down by Global
Security Services, efficiently dealt
with, and escalated. - To
ensure integrity of the
security systems is maintained. - To
ensure
that the removal of goods and permit to work procedures are
all maintained at
all times. - To complete the
Control Centre hand over sheet at the end of each shift and
ensure
that
any outstanding issues are handed over. - To comply
with data protection guidelines regarding disclosure of personal and confidential information held on the
security databases. - To run reports and view CCTV footage as directed by the Global
Security Services
team. - To coordinate daily
team duties. - To promptly report
all system faults. - To maintain a key element of the
control centre function by utilising the technology available to
ensure
that as far as possible the building remains secure and
any suspicious activity is noted. - To conduct a patrol of the premises using CCTV internally and externally and the patrol book, noting the results.
Any other duties deemed to be appropriate or necessary to the post.

Security.
