Vehicle Technical Advisor
A fast-growing company in the vehicle warranty sector. Who is looking to be a market-leading warranty provider in the country.

As a Vehicle Technical Advisor, you will provide vital technical knowledge and expertise to their vehicles claims department.

Ideally someone with vehicle technician and/or workshop management experience - an understanding of vehicle repairs, maintenanceand components is a must for this role.

But no getting your hands dirty.


The Role:


  • Working in their offices in Peterborough no getting wet in the winter or messing about with oil.
  • Assessing warranty claims on vehicles with failed components to confirm the cause of the issues and advise our claims team accordingly.
  • Working alongside other Vehicles Technician Advisors to review warranty claims. Team of 4 currently.
  • Reviewing independent vehicle inspection reports to support a decision.
  • Creating claim analysis on receipt of a repair diagnosis or estimate. Checking the labour rates and hours quoted by a garage to make sure the claim is fair and the customers car is having the correct repair carried out.
  • Checking service history and MOT records to ensure vehicles have been maintained.
  • Providing analysis, advice and guidance to our claims and sales teams where required.

What they need

  • Comprehensive knowledge of motor vehicle repairs, maintenance, and components.
  • Experience working in an environment to a high standard.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a diplomatic approach where required.
  • Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office programmes and Outlook.
  • Great communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • To be a highly motivated individual, able to work individually or as part of a team,

The Package:

- £28,000 per year

  • Monday to Friday (No Weekends)
