The role sits within the commercial team within the Manchester office, leading five underwriters to work with key broker accounts - typically consolidators, nationals and networks - the company are looking to grow and develop this part of the business.

The Role:

You'll work at a team lead level, managing a small team of underwriters, challenging their thinking and influencing their underwriting strategy.
The team is thriving, you'll have the momentum and as much as you could wish for in the form of infrastructure and underwriting.
The role has real visibility internally and is high profile within the market it's an opportunity to kick on in your career.

You:

You'll have a solid technical underwriting background as well as some team leader experience or people management experience.
You'll be keen to be a technical referral point for the junior underwriters.
