Job Title: Mobile HGV Trailer Mechanic

Location: Gateshead, UK

Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts

Annual Salary: £34,000 - £50,000

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile HGV Trailer Mechanic to join our team at the Gateshead workshop. Our client is a specialist in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full vehicle maintenance tasks, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical servicing and repairs.
• Address running defects, conduct diagnostics, and carry out complete vehicle overhauls.
• Prepare vehicles for MOTs and present them for testing when necessary.

Requirements:

• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
• Demonstrable experience working with trailers.
