About the role:


The main purpose of the job


The post holder will be a member of the Faculty Education Team, and report to the Head of Student Casework for the Faculty of Engineering Sciences.


The post holder will also have close contact with the Departmental Tutors, Graduate Tutors and senior administrative staff in the Faculty and their constituent departments and in UCL Student and Registry Services.


You will be working in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for managing the faculty's student casework flow, as well as the administrative functions and records relating to the Student Support and Casework Frameworks.

This may also involve student registration, examinations and student progression within the Faculty as required.

About you:

The following are some of the essential criteria required for this role:

  • Good standard of general education to first-degree standard or equivalent.
  • Awareness of the Disability, Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts, and how they impact students
  • Experience in casework management and designing and improving associated administrative processes
  • Excellent oral communication skills, including the ability to deal with distressed individuals on occasion
