Group Management Accountant

Grafton Banks are representing a progressive and acquisitive group to fill a newly created and broad Management Accountant role - ideally on a 18month contract, with a view to going permanent.

Backed by Private Equity, this is an exciting time to join thebusiness as you will have the opportunity to implement procedures, processes and controls and play a role in shaping the group moving forward.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will need to be a Qualified Accountant, with good financial and management accounting skills and the interest to put your hand to both financial reporting, management accounting and project work.

Furthermore,you should be ambitious, hungry and keen to grow and succeed in a developing and ever
- changing organisation.

Role responsibilities include Assist with year-end statutory accounts and the consolidation process for the group

Support the monthly management accounts production
Prepare monthly analysis of balance sheet accounts
Help provide analysis of sales, KPI's, and forecasting
Great opportunity to get involved in acquisitions work

Skills Required

Recently Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Either:
Industry trained Accountant, with management and financial accounting experience or
Practice-Trained Accountant looking for your first move into industry, or
Experience in Statutory Accounting and/or Monthly Management Accounting
Excellent basic accounting skills, as well as some experience of P&L, Balance sheet and financial analysis
Keen eye for designing procedures and standardising processes.
