LEICESTER (flex/hybrid)

THE COMPANY

Having a strong high-street and online presence, they have a well-developed data and analytics function, using this to drivebusiness decisions and ensure the best for their customers.


THE ROLE

In this role, you will:

  • Use SQL to investigate data, including that of customer behaviour, spending habits and trends to spot fraudulent activity or suspicious transactions
  • Sharing insights with the wider team to understand these trends and how to forecast and predict fraud
  • Tell stories with data to understand the customer journey and provide insights into what this looks like and what it means for the business
  • Investigate the impact of the economy on the customers and how that translates into their buying habits

YOUR SKILLS NEEDED

You will need:

  • Strong SQL skills for deepdiving into varied customer data sets, able to manipulate, extract and understand this
  • Preferably experience with a data visualisation tool for assisting your data storytelling skills
  • Strong communication skills for presenting insights to stakeholders, be they technical or nontechnical
  • Previous experience in an analyst role, able to hit the ground running in this position
