Inventory Coordinator

Duration: 6 months, extensions likely

Location:
WFH / Birmingham

Salary:
£ £30000 per annum
We are on the lookout for an Inventory Coordinator to join their Supply Chain Performance team. This role will be home based with occasional travel to supplier sites and Midlands offices as required.

Day to day you'll be responsible for managing the levelsand replenishment of stock, proactive planning and cost-effective management of inventory levels.

Excellent communication skills will be essential as you'll be building and maintaining relationships with relevant suppliers. This is a great opportunity fora self-motivated and results driven individual who enjoys working in supply chain.

You will be a dynamic, adaptive, and resilient industry professional regarding Inventory with the ability to collaborate at all levels of the business and be curious with a 'can do' attitude.

You take ownership for delivering great customer outcomes, keepingthings simple to deliver value and always seeking to work collaboratively, to continually improve and make progress.

You will have strong communication skills, enthusiasm, a can-do flexible attitude that embraces change and challenges.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Daily ordering and stock checking.
  • Managing suppliers order books.
  • Managing NGM's OTIF levels.
  • Coordination with the warehouse to organise supplier deliveries.
  • Placing purchase orders
  • Manage invoicing queries
  • Support team monthly KPI reporting
  • Provide contract management support to the wider supply chain performance team
  • Assist and input to performance improvement projects

Experience & Qualifications:


  • Experience working in an operational environment is essential
  • Experience of developing and delivering management reporting is essential
  • Previous continuous improvement experience is desirable
  • Experience in a previous Inventory or Supply Chain role is desirable
  • Working towards a relevant industry qualification or desire to do so (e.g. CIPS)
