Job Summary


We are a lighting manufacturing company based in Burnley, looking for someone to work in our Production department Manufacturing LED lighting products, Completing stock takes, QA Checks, Packing orders and working from basic Manufacturing instructions.


Any experience of electrical wiring, Soldering or working a Ultrasonic Welding Machine would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.

The person should be organised, have a good eye for detail and quality and have good time keeping.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • Cable assembly or soldering experience preferred, but not required. Training will be provided
  • Able to work overtime during busy periods and have flexibility with hours of work
  • Ability to work well with others displaying a positive, cando attitude, with experience of working in a production environment
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Enthusiastic and flexible enough to be trained for and work on any production task.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.
  • Basic electrical knowledge preferred but training will be provided.

Job Type:

Salary:
Meets national minimum wage


Job Duties:

  • Carry out the cable assembly process as instructed and following printed assembly instruction documents.
  • Carry out custom labelling of cable assembly products as instructed by supervisor and by following printed custom label instruction documents
  • Adhere to safety standards by practicing safe working processes
  • Keep work station neat and tidy and maintain tools/equipment properly
  • Be willing to lend a hand across departments if necessary.

Salary:
£5.28-£10.42 per hour
