Description

This position represents an excellent opportunity for a highly-skilled and motivated individual to contribute to the day-to-day running of a busy boarding school.

The College is seeking to appoint a Painter and Decorator.

This is a crucial role in supporting the Facilities Department to ensure that maintenance and refurbishment of both College and house properties are completed in accordance with the current regulations.

Responsible for:

Responsibilities:


  • To undertake routine maintenance to the required standards.
  • To assist in the broader service delivery to the College.
  • Organise/Coordinate and assist with the compiling and production of various reports including Lifecycle Condition Surveys and various other specific projects
  • To assist in providing estimates for additional works
  • To ensure full compliance with relevant health and safety requirements
  • To promote the highest possible level of customer care.
  • To cover as required in the absence of work colleagues.
  • To actively participate in ensuring that PPM and reactive tasks are completed
  • Ensure that relevant Task Specific Risk Assessments are available for tasks such as but not limited to Work at Height and Manual Handling.
  • Develop a concern for personal safety and the safety of others.
  • Take care of personal health and safety and the safety of others whilst at work and ensure others or the environment are not harmed through your acts or omissions.

Salary:
£28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
