My client, a specialist UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Hydraulic Modeller to join an expanding Water and Environmental Team based in Southampton.


It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Environmental Modelling or Hydraulic Modelling and experience working for a UK based consultancy completing Flood Risk Assessments and using HydraulicModelling packages including Flood Modeller or Infoworks or Tuflow.

This exciting opportunity will offer you the change to join a friendly and experienced team.

As a Hydraulic Modeller, you will be trained by the team to specialise in Flood Risk and Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.


You will also be trained complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications, Flood Estimation using ReFH and Winfap, Hydrological Assessments, Environmental Chapters, Surface Water Management Plans, Catchment Management Plansand complex Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.

You will also have the opportunity to be involved in Rainfall Analysis and Drainage Strategies for developments.
