Description

Sunfish Services is a growing fire safety business based in Melbourne, Derbyshire. Established in 2004, Sunfish provides installation and service of fire detection and electronic security systems. The Company is accredited to the NACOSS Gold Security Scheme and the NSI Fire Gold Scheme.

We are now looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative.

Reporting to:
Product Supply Manager

Main Function:

The main purpose of the job role is to assemble and pack orders for delivery and to receive deliveries from suppliers and book goods into stock using the computerised stock management system.

Principle Responsibilities:

Pick, pack and dispatch orders for delivery to customers
Receive deliveries of parts and book into stock
Assist in stocktakes
Recycle and dispose of waste materials in conjunction with recycling service providers
Ensure warehouse facilities are maintained in a clean and tidy state and that appropriate health and safety procedures are followed.
Any other duties in line with the post.

Knowledge and Requirements

Previous warehouse experience
Computer skills with experience of using stock management systems and Microsoft Excel
Good organisational and planning skills
Fit and in good health, capable of conducting manual handling tasks in accordance with risk assessments
