    Technical Sales Manager

    We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our new UK Division for a leading expert in Marine Diesel Engines on a Permanent basis.

    The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills, with a flexible approach towards working hours and regular travel.

    Key responsibilities include:

    1. Identifying potential clients for Marine Dealerships throughout the territory and engaging, qualifying, and retaining them to build a sales and support network in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
    2. Generating sales and bookings using an indirect sales strategy to pull-through sales with users.
    3. Identifying Commercial Boat Builders (OEMs) and executing a direct sales strategy for company products.
    4. Utilising corporate Resources to develop and publish general and direct marketing presentations throughout the territory.
    5. Attending and presenting at National and International Marine Industry trade shows within the region.
    6. Preparing presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
    7. Establishing and maintaining current customer and potential customer relationships.
    8. Developing and maintaining sales materials and current product knowledge.
    9. Communicating to customers new products and services opportunities, special developments, and new information.
    10. Following up for collection of payment if necessary.
    11. Acting as support to engineering on the development of generation and powertrain packages to meet customer needs.
