The Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and talented professional to join our team and play a key role in delivering/supporting Hampshire young people through this role as a qualified Careers Adviser.
  • Hampshire Futures is a part of the Participation & Lifelong Learning service, within Hampshire County Council's Children's Services Directorate, with the responsibility for delivering Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance, and the statutory responsibility for tracking and supporting post-16 participation in Education, Employment and Training (EET).
  • In this role, you will effectively manage a caseload of young people, providing careers information, advice, and guidance interviews and 1:1 support to identify and sustain a positive post-16 destination.
  • The role will require partnership working with a range of professionals including social care staff, schools and colleges, employers, and training providers. Tasks may also include attending review meetings, preparing and delivering group sessions and presentations, attending employer engagement activities, and delivering careers advice and guidance in schools and colleges.-
