You will be part of the on-site Railscape team working as a Site Recovery Operative on the Eurotunnel terminal in Folkestone, Kent.

This is a varied and sometimes challenging role that covers a variety of duties that makes up part of Railscape's multi services contract.

Your main duties will be to attend broken down vehicles in the flow of traffic and assessing the vehicle whether it needs fixing or recovering to a place of safety.

This could be a motorbike, car, camper, coach, van, LGV or an HGV. You will be required to provide excellent customer service in a professional and polite manner ensuring customers safety.

You will need to be punctual, clean, and tidy and be able to work well under pressure using your own initiative as well as working as part of a team.

Other duties include, daily walk around checks and keeping the trucks clean, tidy, presentable, and roadworthy ready for work condition.

You will receive uniform and PPE to enable you to carry out your duties in a safe and professional environment.

Industry accredited training courses will be provided.

You must be happy to work outside at all times of the year and have the flexibility and adaptability to switch tasks according to the needs of the contract.

Full Driving Licence category C + E licence (class 1 HGV licence), required.
Mechanical knowledge and previous experience in vehicle recovery whilst desirable is not essential.
Permanent full time shift position
12hour shifts 4on, 4off days then nights
