Domestic Gas Safe Engineer to join a dynamic regional company recognised for developing and training its staff to succeed in their roles.

Based in
Woking, you will join them on a
full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a
competitive salary of £40,000 - £41,000 per annum and excellent benefits.

Key responsibilities as theDomestic Gas Safe Engineer will include:

  • The annual inspection and testing of boilers and the subsequent issue of Landlord Gas Safety Certificate in live tenant and void environments as well as plant rooms
  • Faultfinding, servicing and repairs to boilers and other gas appliances
  • Inspection and certification of other gas appliances such as cookers
  • Installation of new boilers and other gas appliances
  • The coaching, mentoring and assessment of a beginner or improver Gas Safe Plumber
  • Occasional associated plumbing work as required

What the company are looking for in their Domestic Gas Safe Engineer:

  • Full current driving licence
  • Gas Safe Registered
  • Hold an ACS accredited qualification for a minimum of 5 years


  • Plumbing NVQ Level

  • Unvented hot water certificate (Advantageous)
  • Over 5 years' experience as a registered gas safe plumber
  • A minimum of 3 years' gas related faultfinding experience
  • Coaching and mentoring an apprentice or improver gas safe plumber (Advantageous)
  • Technical gas compliant, knowledge of working methods, practices, procedures, regulations and legislation when applied to a building maintenance environment
  • Have broad knowledge of the materials and methods used in the gas maintenance and wider building maintenance industry
  • A practical and compliant knowledge of the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 ad most recent associated code of practice and guidance
