The role:
The Business Analyst (BA) role is responsible for supporting the Business Leads in ensuring that the design of the end-to-end solution meets the business outcomes identified and is delivered, built and deployed to the UK business to time, scope, qualityand cost.
The BA needs to build a detailed understanding of the Electricity Business Regulatory Process, including how Cost data is used for internal business processes to ensure there is no loss of capability.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting the Business Leads in ensuring that the design of the endtoend process meets business outcomes and is delivered to time, scope, quality and cost.
- Activities including recording requirements, attendance at events and progressing issue resolution in a timely manner.
- Support in managing stakeholder relationships and building strong networks
- Work to explore the art of the possible and help guide and innovate ways to drive more efficient business solutions.
- Define Business Processes
- Work with the business to define business rules and new reports / data views and processes
- Influence key stakeholders where necessary including at Senior Leadership level to ensure that the design solution is understood and confirm it meets requirements
- This will require excellent communication skills to ensure the smooth delivery of solutions
- The Business Analyst will also contribute to the wider Project deliverables, and where appropriate support the team in their project activities
- Responsible for supporting the Business Lead in ensuring the transition of design into build is successful for their process
- Representing the Business to ensure build deliverables meet requirements across technical and functional specifications and that any configuration necessary meets stated and approved business outcomes
- Understand data landscape and any cleanse requirements, leading appropriate planning and resolution of data challenges within the business where required
- Supporting plan and delivery of golive activities where required
Requirements:
- Experience of largescale programmes of system and process change within a business environment, ideally in an implementation of SAP S/4 Hana.
- Practical experience of project lifecycle processes in a capital infrastructure build environment, preferably within Utilities.
- Track record of sound decision making and developing working relationships quickly and effectively across all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to build and effectively manage/develop working relationships with staff and management at all levels internally and externally
