Marcus Donald are currently looking for
Head of Threat & Response to join our client in the Telecommunications Industry.


They are looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running, leading by example and being the person to look up to.

You will be coming in and taking over a fully functioning security team full of established Threat & Response Specialists (4 Security Analyst's and 1 Senior Security Analyst).


Required in the London or Hampshire office 1 day a month

Head of Threat & Response - Technical Responsibilities:

  • Have past managerial experience.
  • The ability to individually respond to incidents and lead by example.
  • Ability to communicate security efficiently throughout the organisation.
  • Assist with the creation, maintenance, and delivery of cyber security awareness training for colleagues.
  • Indepth Malware, Phishing, and Threat analysis
  • Working with SIEM tools such as AlienVault & Splunk
  • Triaging and defining the appropriate response to incidents
  • Vulnerability Management experience, using Nessus and Tenable Security Center
  • Strong Networking experience
  • Good Architecture & Design

Head of Threat & Response - Non-Technical Responsibilities:

  • Present Ideas (With how it would help the business as well)
  • Selfsufficient
  • Work well both individually and in a team
  • Ability to influence and lead
  • Be someone who others can look up to
  • Have a real interest in Security and Tech as a whole
