IN2 Consult - Financial Accountant - 3-6 months - London - Temp to Perm - Producing year end statutory accounts, point of contact for external auditors.


IN2 Consult are supporting a UK based Market leading client of ours with the recruitment of a Financial Accountant on an temp to perm basis.

This role will report into the Group Financial Controller and be responsible for producing the year end statutoryaccounts for the next 2 year ends, being the point of contact for external audit firms and supporting with finance transformations and other adhoc duties.

This role will be required to be in the office 2 days a week.


Key duties involved in this Year End Accountant FTC:

  • Preparing Statutory financial statement and notes
  • Responsibility for Statutory account, specifically into FRS 102 (UK GAAP)
  • Recommended Practice, reviewing presentation and accounting processes against standards
  • Perform an analytical review of the Statutory accounts and keep the audit trail maintained, reviewing group cash flows, and production of financial analysis of spend across the group.
  • Assist with compiling key performance indicators
  • Working with the CFO transformation management team to develop different project plans, set milestones and support in the production of the case study for the change.
  • Collaborating with business areas to develop the delivery approach for the streamlined CoA; how to implement new processes, change management required to support new ways of working, extent of training activities required etc.

Key Requirements for this Financial Accountant vacancy:

  • ACA/ ACCA or CIMA
  • Qualified
  • Experience producing year end statutory accounts.
  • FRS 102 (UK GAAP) reporting experience.
  • Previous experience in industry required.
  • Available either with immediate notice up to 3/4 weeks.
