RECEPTIONIST
The Role - F/T or Job Share for the Role of Receptionist for Metro House, Gateshead, Newcastle


Working generally under own initiative, although support is always on hand, the successful applicant will assist with the day to day reception duties at Metro House, Marconi Way, Gateshead, Newcastle.

The Following duties will be required including:


  • General Reception Duties
  • Provide point of Contact for building / maintenance contractors & Liaise and keep all parties 'in the loop'
  • Meeting and greeting Visitors, signing them in and informing them of H&S procedures
  • Carry out routine daily inspections & safety checks, Move Outs and Move Ins with Office Tenants
  • Receiving and Distributing the post and deliveries where required
  • Management of Safety & Compliance Certificates, conduct Fire Drills on Site as required on a Monthly basis
  • Process and seek authorisation of payment of invoices
  • Keeping team at Head Office advised of relevant issues
Liaise with Cleaners and ensure that the Reception, Communal areas are kept clean, tidy and clear of Obstructions


Experience & Skills Required

  • Experienced Receptionist
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal
  • Excellent listener and to get the best out of this
  • Shows good methodology and administration
  • Be a team player and be able to build good working relationships
  • Excellent geographical knowledge of Newcastle
  • Have a flexible approach to work and show initiative where required
  • Friendly personality & positive attitude
Any Other Tasks needed by the Business

Renumeration dependant on Experience & Qualifications
