OPERATIONS DIRECTOR - SINGLE FAMILY OFFICELONDON
PERMANENT ROLE
c£200,000 BASIC SALARY PLUS PACKAGE
Our client, a large-scale, international single-family office, based in London, is seeking an experienced Operations Director.
Key Role Accountabilities:
Property Management:
Managing refurbishments, renovations, and rebuilds of existing properties in the UK and abroad
Sourcing, liaising, and working closely with contractors, advisors, architects, designers and suppliers.
Controlling and optimizing project costs and challenging budget adjustments (in a team with the internal financial controller).
Acquisition of New Properties:
Identifying and acquiring new properties, leveraging all relevant third-party and internal family office resources.
Management of Personal Projects:
Management and oversight of both commercial (e.g., restaurants) and non-commercial (e.g. art foundations) personal projects.
Projects include operational businesses as well as projects in the idea stage.
Event Management:
Organizing and managing various events for UHNWIs.
Management of Personal Assistants:
Managing the work of, and taking responsibility for, the work of family's personal assistants.
Administrative Tasks Management:
Overseeing tasks related to PR, HR, IT infrastructure, healthcare, security, and household staff management.
Miscellaneous Private Lifestyle Tasks:
Lead other ad hoc private lifestyle tasks in a team.
About You:
Experience in establishing and running own businesses
Experience reviewing financial information (budgets, reports etc.) and legal documents
Familiarity with Asana, Slack, Google Drive or other collaborative software
Previous Family Office experience or working with UHWNIs
Strong leadership and people management skills
Systematic approach to tasks
Ability to analyze and present data in coherent and neat way
Motivation and proactivity
Accuracy
Comfort with multi-tasking and superior prioritization abilities for yourself and others
Project management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technical / IT literacy
