The Company


Penguin Recruitment is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team as part of an award-winning Planning and Development consultancy based in Kent.


This is an ideal role for a Transport Planner who is looking for a challenge, willing to take on a variety of projects, liaise with clients and have an opportunity to develop within a successful and growing transport planning team.

The Position

In this role, you will be expected to lead small to medium projects from inception through to completion.

You will support Directors in major schemes across the south-east region, attend client meetings, liaise with external consultants, and train the teamsgraduate transport planners.


  • Have a Master's degree in Transport Planning (desirable)
  • Have extensive experience as a Transport Planner in either the public or private sectors
  • Have experience of the relevant software packages: TEMPro, ARCADY, PICADY, LinSig, TRICS and Excel
  • Be a member of a relevant professional body e.g., CIHT, CILT (desirable but not essential)
  • Have a full clean driver's licence
