Have you got international shipping experience? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced logistics environment?

A manufacturing business in Burton-on-Trent is on the lookout for a Logistics Administrator to join their team. You'll have the option to 2 days working from home, once the training period is complete.

Day to day you'll be planning and coordinating vendors, freight forwarders and the goods-in function at the 3PL warehouse.

Working alongside the Procurement Team, you'll focus on ensuring smooth movement of materials at a global level.

You will track stock levels and sales forecasts, as well as managing both import and export documentation. Experience of dealing with customs clearance processes is also very favourable.

As you'll be proactively engaging with suppliers and freight forwarders, strong communication skills are vital. Having a working knowledge of systems including MRP and SAP would be ideal.
