Buyer position


You will be expected to:

• Prepare orders as per requests from contracts managers.
• Monitor project call off sheets to log build progress and delivery dates.
• Liaise with stakeholders to discuss upcoming requirements and advise of any possible delays on materials.
• Place Pre orders with merchants to prevent delays, based on the schedules provided by the contracts managers.
• Ensure that the correct specification is being used for each project.
• Store project information in accordance with company procedure.

What you'll need:

• Numerate, with attention to detail.
• Confident in the use of Microsoft Excel.
• Methodical, conscientious and organized.
• The ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally.

Plumbing experience is not required for the position, but id desirable. Training for this role will be provided.

• increased by 1 day per year up to 5 years.

- £20,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience

The work schedule will be Monday to Friday 8am to 16:30pm or 8.30am to 5pm, based at our Wigan head office.
