Key Focus:

The key focus of this role is to provide administrative support to the Construction Department.

As a Streetworks and Noticing Co-ordinator you will be required to primarily focus on assisting with the management and administration of accurately recording daily civils measurements of reinstated surfaces (S70 Registrations) within a strict time limit.

You will be working in a team of Coordinators who may require operational and administrative support with scheduling and permitting for civils conducted by Jurassic Fibre Contractors.

This is a part time role, with a minimum of 15 hours.


This role will report to:

Streetworks and Noticing Manager

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Investigate, manage and run reports on reinstatement defects received in accordance with NRSWA using Street Manager
  • Provide operational and administrative support for scheduling and permitting civils works
  • Identify foreseeable project risks and escalate to the Senior Street Works and Permitting Supervisor for review with the Manager
  • Provide constructive feedback and support the team members on daytoday duties
  • Provide telephone and system support
  • Providing general administrative support to the Street Works and Permitting Supervisors and Manager as required
  • Promoting improvements in Safety in line with the objectives set by the SHEQ Manager
  • Any adhoc duties as requested by the Street Works and Permitting Supervisors and Manager
  • Some overtime may be required

Person Spec:


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Understanding of NRSWA compliance procedures
  • Experienced in the use of Street Works permitting systems
  • Ability to prioritize a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines
  • Previous experience within a similar role (utilities industry is desirable)
  • 2+ years of administration experience
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) skills
  • Confident and proficient with technology
  • Interest in FTTP (desirable)
  • GCSE Math's & English passes
  • Clear understanding of operational delivery in a commercially focused business environment and timely delivery of customer requirements
  • Adaptable to change
  • Ability to selfmotivate and work well within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent people skills and telephone manner
  • Detail oriented and analytical
  • Thrives in a multitasking environment and can adjust priorities onthefly
  • A general ability to learn and use a variety of software/apps/digital media
  • Experience in highway permitting schemes (desirable)
